Every year Unity Stage Company’s Artistic Director Sofia Geier assembles a team of multi-talented Teaching Artists to develop your child’s performing arts skills. Each artist plans and implements her/his own unique workshop to interest and challenge your child. Our Teaching Artists all have their own professional performance careers in addition to their demanding teaching schedules, guaranteeing your child expert instruction as well as caring and thoughtful guidance throughout the program day.

Unity Stage Company draws our summer Teaching Assistants from local Western Queens high schools, including the prestigious Frank Sinatra School of the Arts. Some are former Unity Stage Company performing arts campers!

Our facility in the Auditorium at Queen of Angels Church in Sunnyside is air-conditioned and spacious, with six separate areas to allow multiple activities at once as well as a large central area for play during lunch and game times.
